Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's) (aka Contmaination Testing) is done in accordance with AS4482.1 and the National Env. Protection Measure 1999.
The type and extend of soil contamination testing is typically provided, or implied, in your planning permit.
We can assess the type you require with a copy of your planning permit or after a site inspection.
Sometimes referred to as a 'Filling Report'. Common requirement in Planning Permits.
A qualified geotechnical engineer is sent to your site, undertakes samples and assesses prior land use, geology and limited laboratory analysisas required (e.g. Heavy Metals, Asbestos, arsenic, Hydrocarbon testing) to determine the risk of contamination.
If significant contaminants are found, Stage 2 testing may be recommended, or remedial measures are reccomended.
Extensive NEPM and related testing testing across all filling and multiple strata to determine the extent of the contamination, and possible remedial works.
